Ivy Cosplay 

Ivy Cosplay is a professional cosplayer and costume designer based in Florida, originally from Puerto Rico. Since launching her career in 2010 with a Lara Croft photoshoot directed by her husband, Michael of MC Illusion Photography—where she also serves as his assistant—Ivy has established herself as a prominent figure in the cosplay community.

Her journey into public cosplay began at Star Wars Celebration VI, where her portrayal of Princess Leia sparked a lasting passion for the craft and its vibrant community. Since then, Ivy’s work has garnered significant recognition, with features in prominent publications including COSPLAYology, Cosplayzine, and Surreal Beauty Magazine. Her artistry has also graced the covers of notable comic books, including Vengeance of Vampirella, Vampire Bloodlines, and Flesh Eating Cheerleaders.

As a sought-after convention guest, Ivy has appeared at numerous events across the country, including Comix Megazone in Puerto Rico, Geekfest Florida, ValleyCon in Fargo, North Dakota, and Smoky Mountains Fan Fest in Tennessee. Her extensive portfolio includes over 100 character portrayals from film and comic book franchises, as well as several original character designs. Among her most celebrated works are her interpretations of Catwoman, Wonder Woman, and Lara Croft.

Distinguishing herself through meticulous craftsmanship, Ivy handcrafts each of her costume designs, reflecting her deep commitment to the art form. She continues to pursue her professional aspirations in costume design, bringing creativity and technical expertise to every project.
